“Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.” – Ephesians 5:21

  • Only followers become leaders.
  • Good followers become good leaders, while bad followers become bad leaders.
  • You don’t follow to only learn, you also follow to teach.
  • Following the one who is lesser than you, suggests that you are mentoring
  • Following people does not stop your greatness, in fact, it makes you greater.

Good followers become good leaders while bad followers become bad leaders. Meaning that, who you follow may determine where you are heading to, and who you will eventually become. Some people are so full of themselves, that they find it difficult to follow people. Even if you are a leader, and you are following somebody that is just coming up, it shows that you are a good and matured leader. In fact, following the one who is lesser than you, suggests that you are mentoring such. As you are commenting on his/her life, you are invariably moderating his/her thoughts and actions.

There is no qualm in following people. You don’t follow to only learn, you also follow to teach. Your comment here and there on the activities of the person, is like you are moderating his/her thoughts, you are moulding his/her destiny. You are moulding him/her to become a leader indeed and an epitome of success.

  • Following Moses did not stop Joshua from being great.
  • Serving King Saul did not stop David from becoming a king.
  • Serving the household of Pharaoh leads to the greatness of Joseph.
  • Following Jesus did not reduce the disciples; it increased them, and made them very great.

Following is a good thing! We have to follow ourselves. Our thoughts, actions and reactions need moderation, to install and maintain peace and normalcy.

  • Our governments need to be followed; to keep eye on their activities; that is the reason for opposition party, but that is not enough, the masses need to play their part.
  • Our leaders need to be followed to see to how they are representing us, whether well or otherwise.
  • Bloggers need to be followed to see whether they are feeding people with right diets or not.

Sincerely speaking, EVERYONE needs to be followed!
