Fear Not, Do Not Panic!

Relax_God's...

Some people are fortified that even in the face of imminent danger; they are as bold as lion. The devil, himself, knows that he cannot dare the children of God, in fact, he dreads us, that is why he prowls about roaring like a lion, we are the real lions, and he is a fake! We belong to the Tribe of the Lion of Judah.

You have a viable weapon not to be panicked in any situation. In the most valuable book of all time, the Bible, the researchers, and theologians told us that we have 365 “Fear not’s”, that means, one can be used per day. Some left their own untapped and used.

Have a glimpse of what was written on “Fear” in The End Matters Most, authored by Peter Adewumi. (Print on Demand, eBook & Audio):

Job said in Verse 25 of Chapter 3, “For the thing which I greatly feared has come upon me and that which I was afraid of has come unto me.” Let it sink to your whole being that anything you are afraid of: be it sickness, death or any misfortune; shall surely happen to you. Job was so engulfed with fear that none of his children died, but alas, none of them remained. The only fear you are permitted to have is the fear of God and not any other fear. Many people fear death so much that when they talk about it in their presence, they begin to shake like a leaf on the surface of running water.  Hear what God says in Ezekiel 18: 32 – “For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dies, says the Lord God: therefore, turn yourselves and live.” May I ask then, “Why are you so afraid of death?” When God says He has no pleasure in your death.

Hebrews 2:15 says And (God) deliver them who through fear of death were their (entire) lifetime subject to bondage. Verse 14 implies that through Jesus’ death, He had destroyed the power of death.

Get out! I command, of that bondage of the fear of death. Why the fear of death? Just keep God’s commandment and then long life is your portion (1 Kings 3:14, Proverbs 3:1- 2). The only fear you are permitted to have is the ‘Fear of God’; and let this be your song from now on: Psalms 118:17 – I shall not die but live and declare the works of the Lord.

Few are those that fear death compared to those that fear the unknown destination they are heading to. Abraham set for an unknown journey without fear. In the journey of life, people are all afraid because they don’t know the way. Even, if you don’t know the way, just come to the Lord that knows the way. In fact, He is the way Himself, the one that leads to a glorious destiny. Abraham knows the lord that knows the way. That was the reason he wasn’t afraid when he set for an unknown journey.

Let God lead you in the journey to the unknown. He took the Israelites through the wilderness instead of a short distance through ‘The Way of the Land of the Philistines’; the reason was to prevent them from war and returning back to Egypt. It wasn’t war that really killed those people in the wilderness; it was fear of the unknown. For instance, out of those twelve spies, it was only Joshua and Caleb that didn’t die, the remaining ten died due to the fear of death. Anything you are afraid of will definitely happen, that is the law. Fear of the unknown kills. If you are afraid to go on a journey, you can never get there.

If a glorious destiny is what you desire, start the journey now. You can never die on the way. “He will swallow up death in victory, ….” (Isaiah 25:7). That is a prophecy; He had already swallowed it in victory. Abraham got to the glorious end, so also the bold and courageous Israelites got to the Promised Land. You shall surely get to your destination in life, and you shall make it to Heaven in the long run, in Jesus’ name! Amen.
