Impression: The Result of What You Do

Hand shake - impressionwtmk

Impression is what you do, that make people continue to think of you after you have left. It is paramount when it comes to success in life. It is actually working on the mind of others. Yes, and I don’t think this is wrong. In fact, this is the only one route that leads to minds of others concerning you.

The same way it is not easy to leave an imprint on a rock, it is not easy to leave an impression on the minds of people, but it is very possible and achievable. Efforts and principles can make it done.

These are what to do to leave your impression on the minds of people you are meeting for the first time:

  • Give a smile and hearty greetings.
  • Introduce yourself and ask for his/her name.
  • Continue the conversation.
  • Decline if he/she doesn’t want to speak with you.
  • Render a helping hand if he/she needs one.
  • Give room for opportunity to meet again.

However, do not forget there are wolves in sheep’s clothing and there is the possibility that sheep can be found in wolves’ clothing, beware and be at alert when you are meeting new people. All your senses have to be at work, when you meet people for the first time, in order to at least have a glimpse into who he/she is. Though, you may be wrong later!

First impression, they say, lasts longer.
