Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg returned to Harvard University this week, the school where he created the idea for Facebook, to receive his honorary degree.
Zuckerberg dropped out of Harvard in his sophomore year in 2004 to head up Facebook, but he is now known as Dr. Mark Zuckerberg after receiving his honorary degree. In his commencement speech, Zuckerberg encouraged the current generation to pursue and create purpose instead of merely doing a job, saying that this will have a real and positive impact on the world.
He also expressed ideals of inclusion, non-isolation and equality for all, saying that these will take the world forward in creating workable solutions to deal with present problems.
