Timely Pluck

If ripe fruits are left on its tree, they overripe, and begin to spoil, this is going to result in a waste of effort, resources, and time. The same thing happens when we ought to take the last step concerning a matter, and we did not take it, it is going to lead to wasteful efforts of all that we have been doing all this while. Sometimes, birds will feed on such fruits. This implies that some other people that take the last step will reap where they did not sow any seed.

Timely pluck 1

Opportunities are like ripe fruits that we have to pluck on time, before they overdue, or before another smart person makes use of it. You might have been spending everything you have; your intellectual, your money and your time, looking for a particular opportunity all this while, and when the opportunity shows up, you did not swiftly take an action. This will result in an unpalatable and regrettable experience.

An instance is a particular young graduate who has been looking for a job for a long time, he has been writing letters of application with his intellect, spending his money to browse and post as many letters as possible. When an opportunity finally came, he went late to the interview, another man got there before him, and all his efforts proof abortive. There is always a need to do what we ought to do on time, especially when it is the last step that will lead to harvesting.
